Terms of Service

1. The service

Mercury Pages ("Mercury", "we") provides software that helps merchants use product information they own or are authorized to use, generating product page content and images with AI, and lets you edit and export that content to your Shopify store (the "Service").

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

Only submit product URLs and content you own or are authorized to use, including your own products, officially licensed products, and authorized dropshipped products. A publicly accessible URL does not grant permission to copy product descriptions, images, prices, trademarks, or other content. Do not use the Service to copy another merchant's product information without permission, to create misleading product claims, or to infringe any trademark, copyright or other right. You are responsible for obtaining and retaining evidence of authorization.

Do not attempt to overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent usage limits or security measures of the Service.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit and the pages you create. You grant us a limited license to process, store and transmit that content solely to provide the Service, including sending it to our AI and hosting providers.

AI-generated text and images may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all content, including prices, claims and compliance with advertising and consumer-protection rules, before publishing it.

5. Shopify and third-party services

When you connect Shopify, you authorize us to create and update products and theme settings in your store on your behalf. Your use of Shopify, Stripe and other third-party services is governed by their own terms.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Usage limits (such as page generations and AI images per month) are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard and reset each calendar month.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid plans.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost sales or profits.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Products already exported to Shopify remain in your store.
